MeimeiBot Privacy Policy

Information we collect

When you use Meimei's action commands, or someone uses an action involving you, we record the server ID, the users involved, the action performed and when it happened. This information is used for action counts and rankings.

We also store achievement progress, unlocks and role information needed to manage rewards.

If you submit feedback, we store your answers, Discord user ID, username at the time of submission, server ID and submission time. Feedback is not anonymous.

How we use and share information

We use this information to operate Meimei's commands, statistics, achievements and role rewards, and to review feedback and prevent repeated submissions.

Action results, rankings and assigned roles may be visible to other members of your server. Feedback submissions are not posted publicly and can be reviewed by authorized maintainers.

Discord and our hosting and database service providers process information as needed to operate the bot. We do not sell your information.

How long we keep information

Action, achievement and role records currently have no automatic expiration. They remain stored until removed through a manual request or when no longer needed for the bot. A self-service statistics reset and action-history removal feature is planned, but is not available yet.

Feedback stored in the bot's database is retained for 180 days and removed through scheduled cleanup.

Feedback is limited to one submission every 72 hours. Repeated identical feedback is blocked for 30 days. Limited identity and timing information may temporarily remain after a feedback deletion request to enforce these limits.

Authorized maintainers may download feedback for private review. Exported copies can be kept beyond the database's 180-day retention period while needed for that purpose. They have no fixed automatic deletion period and are included when handling valid deletion requests.

We do not currently operate a separate backup system. If our service providers maintain recovery copies, those copies may remain until their scheduled removal.

Please include your Discord user ID so we can locate the relevant records. We may ask you to verify that the account belongs to you. Requests are handled manually; there is currently no self-service command to delete action, achievement, role or feedback records.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Meimei's features or data practices change. The effective date above will reflect the current version.
